Mephi is a young adult gray wolf whose coat is dappled with white. Other Garou are able to recognize the markings as signifying his impeccable heritage within Unicorn's tribe (Children of Gaia Pure Breed 4, Appearance 3).

While he is still acclimating to many aspects of homid life, the Philodox is possessed of an irrepressible curiosity that helps to keep him from becoming frustrated with the strangeness of the human world. In Homid form, he stands just under six feet tall. He has dark eyes and hair and skin that speaks of tribal ancestors who originated from the Levant. One might be inclined to think of Persia, modern day Iran, when imagining the ancient homeland of the wolves from whom he claims descent.

Claiming only a single set of clothes, Mephi in Homid is a relatively static sight. He has a pair of blue jeans, a black t-shirt, and a pair of hiking shoes. He tends to exist in a state of needing a hair cut and a shave, but is not fond of either scissors or razors, so it's difficult to get him into a chair or in front of a mirror long enough to manage something productive.

Mephi's father is a wolf-born Moondancer of the Children of Gaia named Remembers-Peace and his mother was a wolf and Children of Gaia kin named White-Paw.
