A young man whose physical appearance reflects some of the darker aspects of the world, Ernesto isn't pleasant. He's not a monster by any stretch, but no one would ever mistake him for being attractive. He's short, scrawny, looks somewhat under developed, and is almost always dirty and dressed in clothes that have long since forgotten what it was like to be washed.

His posture is hunched and he doesn't like to move around much on account of pain. His skin reflects the mixed ancestry of someone whose grandparents might have come from three or more different continents. Features make it hard to determine exactly how one would classify the young man were one given cause to try. Regardless, there are hints of hispanic, caucasian, black, and native central american descent for anyone who can be bothered to stare long enough.

Ernesto would be about five and a half feet tall if he ever stood fully upright. His arms and legs are both too long, with spindly fingers and toes. He has black hair, long and unkempt, and dark brown eyes. His teeth are remarkably white and straight, the sole hint that he might be healthier than one would assume on first glance. Of course, he would need to smile for anyone to take note and that's a rare occurrence.
