Julian Gray

Julian Gray, and yes he is aware that his name is the color, not the more fantastical version associated with certain literature about an immortal with a painting, is a distinguished man. At least he holds himself as one. he always stands tall, never slouches, always wears the best clothing he can afford, with even a Bespoke suit here and there. At 6'3" he's not a short man. He's of average build, seemingly having favored other aspects than the physical while he grew up. His clothing is usually some shade of black, though he's not unknown for, on occasion, being seen in more casual clothing and lighter colors due to the climate.

He always speaks with an affected Harvard accent or as neutrally as possible when the accent is deemed 'too much.'

He is well known among those who read Horror novels as a writer of skill and eloquence, along with an abiding knowledge of the Occult and a deep interest in the topic on an academic level. He is also known among the Occult circles as one who knows at least vaguely what he is doing, and who can give advice on a wide range of matters. His 'About the Author' pages all tell the same story with little embellishment. He was an orphan, he grew up in foster care and always had a love of horror, with a special adoration existential horror. The kind which makes people wonder if there isn't something out there, and if it is anything someone can understand. Though he always admits to having a 'guilty pleasure' in the form of the cheesy horror movies of the past as well as the increasingly popular and better-funded Horror movies of today. One of his listed 'life goals' is to have a novel of his made into a movie, with a preference for the idea of using some of his own drawn cover-art and (minimalist) illustrations as inspiration.
