Name: Clary Sage Sullivan

Nickname: Clary

Age: 29

Gender: Female

Nationality: British

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Hair: Clary Sage has long gold locks that fall in soft waves past her shoulders. She's a naturalist when it comes to her hair. She's never dyed it and has no current plans to. She has cut it of course and has sported both short choppy cuts and classic angular bobs. Presently Clary's hair is long and loose. She will braid it or pin it back if and when she feels the desire.

Eyes: Clary's eyes are blue but blue alone is such a boring description. Clary has the eyes of a mischief maker. Whether she is smiling or not her eyes are sparkling with flecks of amber and brass. Wide but slim Clary's eyes point beautifully at both corners giving her a lovely, feminine shape.

General Appearance: If her name wasn't clued enough, Clary Sage is a boho hippie. She stands at 5’9 and weighs around 130lbs. She works to keep her figure but she is by no means a Gym Junkie. She would rather eat cookie dough than lift weights. Lucky for her she likes to run and swimming is a favorite pastime so she keeps fit enough for her liking. There very well may be a mystical aspect to her looks however that is beyond her control. Clary is beautiful. It is undeniable but some find her worthy of a second glance where they find themselves fixated and entranced. There is just something about her that is more than meets the eye.

Her skin which matches perfectly with her golden hair and bright blue eyes has been permanently painted in places. She has several tattoo’s that make her unique but her fashion sense is what most people tend to notice first. Clary doesn't like magazines. Most likely it’s a rebellion thing. She doesn't like being told what to do let alone what to wear so if it isn't in Vogue or Marie Claire then you're likely to find it in the girls vast and eclectic wardrobe.

Many have remarked that Clary looks like she is out of her time. Holding her side by side with an image of a model from the 70's and you would be hard pressed to spot the difference. She wears little to no make-up. It seems almost narcissistic to say but she truly doesn't need it. Her features are perfect and her skin is pure and clean like gold dripped into melted ice.

Nobody would ever argue with you that Clary Sage is quirky. She loves her Hippie threads just as much as she loves to rock a panda bear hoodie. Feathers and pearls, lace and braided leather. Clary will wear just about anything if it makes her happy and that’s her fashion sense in a nutshell. She likes to be happy. If she puts it on and it doesn't make her smile then it is quickly discarded onto her bedroom floor where most of her wardrobe lies.

Despite her messy housekeeping Clary keeps herself clean and smelling pretty. That’s one Hippie stereotype she is happy to break. Her favorite scent is Blackberry, Sage and Orris Root. A sweet and natural blend made for her by her Mother at the age of 12. It has been her signature scent ever since.

Distinguishing Marks: Clary has many marks that distinguish her from the everyday woman. From the multiple piercing in her ears (six in the right, 4 in the left) to her collection of tattoos, she is a walking billboard for individuality. In the way of clothing and accessories, Clary has a distinct style but the only object that she wears daily is the large Indian moonstone pendant that hangs around her throat. Monetarily it sits somewhere between a pair of silver plated earrings and a fine watch but it's worth to Clary does not lay in its earthly value.

As for tattoo's, Clary has a couple. Revealing her love of the Earth and particular of the night, Clary has a long white tattoo depicting the phases on the moon that runs down the length of her spine. She also has a small sparrow inked into the inner flesh of her right wrist. On her ribs, just below her left breast is a quote that says ‘Let me be patient. Let me be kind. Make me unselfish without being blind. I may have faith to make mountains fall but if I lack love then I am nothing at all.'

ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER

Personality: Clary Sage Sullivan is a free spirit. Always happy, it’s difficult for her to take much of anything seriously. Clary is a firm believer in the theory that there is no ordinary in this world. Everybody is unique and spectacular. Some people just require a little closer look than others. She believes that the good outweighs the bad and that nobody has ever been hurt by a little extra kindness.

The Earth is important to her but she also believes in living in the now which is why she has gone against her Parents’ wishes and bought a car that doesn't need to be plugged in before a long trip. She is still passionate about conservation and that animals should be treated with respect but she can chow down on a cheeseburger when and only when she knows where it came from.

Clary Sage is a pot smoker and it is nothing she is ashamed of. She has never and will never experiment or dabble in anything stronger. She doesn't smoke because she is looking for an escape or needs to dull her senses. Her life is amazing and smoking weed makes the bright things shine brighter and the good things feel better. High sex is great sex and food taste better when your head is in the clouds. She's a hippie. Smoking weed is practically religion.

Clary is her own person. She has taken what has been taught to her as a child and adapted it to fit her own life and her own beliefs. She doesn't fit into anybody’s mold or under anybody’s label and she likes it that way. She will giggle at dirty limericks and boast dreadfully when she whoops your ass in Street Fighter. She recycles and plays paintball. Clary enjoys breaking stereotypes.

Clary Sage has two great passions. First and foremost though, it should probably be said that Clary believes in magic. More than that, she believes that she is a Witch. Not the levitating, spell casting kind but the kind that can do real good in the world with the right knowledge, power and will. Don't call her a Wiccan because she isn't one. As she will happily point out to you, Wicca is a religion and that's just not who she is. Clary is a healer and a helper. She uses what is all around her, be it plants and herbs to mindfulness and the strength of the human spirit to make her magic work.

Rumour has it that the Sullivan women back in the day could do astonishing things. These days however the magic that flows in Clary's blood is a little more diluted perhaps. Clary is more of a herbalist/naturopath with a penchant for positive thinking that a full blow broomstick riding Witch. So her first great passion, is her dedication to her craft and to what she believes is her calling in life.

Clary's Magic is as essential to her as oxygen. Not a day goes by when it doesn't play a part in what she does. Magic is who she is and while Clary earns a little money and a little karma for mixing tinctures and writing mantras to help people achieve what it is they desire, it doesn't pay the bills. Her second love is writing and that is where she shines in the eyes of the ordinary world. It's her cover, her day job so to speak.

Clary writes books and surprisingly, more-so to herself than anyone else, she sells them too. Clary Sage is a best-selling author and a favorite among women. She writes erotica but none of that 50 Shades of Grey crap. Clary doesn't care for Mummy Porn. She writes stories set in fantastical lands where magic and passion rule. Clary writes stories where the characters come first and the sex, well that's just a titillating bonus.

Clary Sage Sullivan is nothing more and nothing less than who and what she was meant to be. She was born a witch then chose to be more. She believes in fairies, can’t hold her liquor, loves Adventure Time and treats her car like a portable storage unit. This world is fascinating and frightening, beautiful and terrible. Clary is as much of an observer to it as she part of it.

Sexual Preferences: Clary believes in free love in true Hippie fashion. She doesn't discriminate when it comes to gender and she follows her heart. When she is in a relationship, she is with that person fully but when she is single as she is currently she has limitless love to give. That does not mean that she sleeps around. Far from it. Clary simply believes that the more love you give the more you have to give. Love is infinite and a connection can often take you by surprise but Clary is careful to protect her heart. It’s the only one she’s got.

History: Clary’s Parents were free loving, eco warriors that brought her up in the traditional hippie ways of conservation and personal balance. Born in London, Clary had a unique upbringing. The young woman grew up around free thinkers and societies outcasts. She learned not to judge people by how they looked and that family was everything. Her family was large as it wasn't limited to brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles but included friends, neighbors and that old man down the street who called himself Professor Thistle-Whistle and made art out of glass bottles. Clary had a happy childhood. She loved and was loved. They didn't have a lot of money but it never seemed to matter. She grew up smart and kind.

Every child has that one person in their lives that they secretly call their favorite. For Clary is was her Grandmother. Nana Dawn was an extraordinary woman. Beyond the organic cooking, the herbal balms, the floral tinctures and the natural remedies, Nana Dawn taught Clary Magic.

Magic runs in her family as sure as blue eyes and dimples do. Her Mother still practices but she has taken a far more pacifist approach to the earth and all its problems so never uses her Magical knowledge for more than brewing tea. Nana Dawn however believed in being prepared. She taught her Granddaughter not only that peace was worth fighting for and that love and life was valued above all else but that there were others out there. Not everybody in this world believed in doing no harm to others. Some even took pleasure from the suffering their fellow Man. Nanna Dawn taught Clary how to protect herself and those she loved. At her core, Clary is a pacifist but she will fight for what she believes in.

Clary's life wasn't all magic and bonfires however. In school, she excelled in her English classes and found that she had a natural talent for writing stories. This, she attributed to all the stories she was told as a child. Many nights were spent around the bonfire sharing folk lore, telling fairy tales or listening to the countless stories her family had to share about their travels and the people they had met. Clary loved to hear stories. Scarcely a night went by when she wasn't able to puppy dog eye her way into getting at least another two stories out of whoever it was that was putting her to bed. Clary loved her family but there were different forms of love.

When Clary was 16 she had her first sexual experience and it opened her eyes to the deeper, more intense side of love. Her heart had been flooded with, yes, the typical endorphins one feels during such times but also with an understanding that there was nothing greater in this world than the feeling of an absolute connection with another human being. She became fascinated with this and began to write down all her thoughts and her feelings.

It wasn't about the sex. That’s what people never seemed to understand. It was about the feeling of being so full of another person’s love and desire for you that your heart was fit to bursting and that the only way to relieve that exquisite pressure was to be vulnerable and to be loved. People needed each other and Clary thought that if she could help them find their way back together, help them connect and to love than she would be doing her life justice and so she became an author.

This was her purpose. It felt like a calling. It took time and many, many rejection letters but she finally got her foot in the door and now people all over the world read her books in the shadows of their bedrooms and they love one another. That’s all she ever wanted. If fact it is this desire that has convinced her to leave her home in Primrose Hill, London and travel to the United States. The deadline for her next book is closing in and Clary is in the search for inspiration, adventure and new friends. She hoped that a change of scenery might loosen up her writer's block and get those juices flowing once again.
