Saramath is half a head shy of six feet. His red hair is kept tied back in a very neat braid that reaches just past his shoulders, his eyes are bright blue and his skin is fair and clean. His general build is light with some muscle to it and his fingers are very fine and a touch longer than normal; he has a tendency to flex and move them when he's not doing anything else. He usually wears clothes with as many pockets as he can conceivably fit on them and that allow for movement while still looking good on him. He has a pair of earrings in his ears—a simple pair of thin, small blue rings, as though he'd repurposed some finger rings as earrings.

He still has both his parents, but no siblings—his mother, Erestar, is a seamstress and clothier, while his father, Talos, is the head of what passes for the village militia.

Around the village, Saramath is known for a few things. He's a really good dancer, acrobat, and talespinner—rumour has it Old Adli, the storyteller, wants him to take over when she passes. He is a shameless flirt and will happily chat up any woman he finds attractive. Most of the time, it's just how he is—he does enjoy making the women he talks to blush and smile—but on occasion, he can be more serious about it. He's not pushy (not intentionally, anyway), and he does respect people when they say no or tell him to stop.

As far as the gangs go, Saramath doesn't take sides. He may help out in a scheme that catches his attention from time to time, but he's more likely to have fun at their expense than anything else. Picking pockets, wild goose chases, selling trinkets that he claims will protect you from the grimgrass (it only worked once, but he found it hilarious when it did)—he's happy to cook up something creative for amusement. These pranks aren't intentionally harmful...unless the target has gone too far in their bullying.
