Description:  Slightly nerdy, but very pretty and curvy.   Not very athletic, but full of nervous energy and enthusiasm.  Her blonde hair comes to her shoulders and her big sky-blue eyes are always sparkling behind her glasses.
Dressing in comfortable clothing (though mostly designer brands), she seems like she's just happy to be wherever she happens to be, as if she'd recently shed a massive burden in her life and is content to simply be somewhere different then there.

She moves like someone with an active job, not an athlete, but her sharp eyes take in everything.  Despite her jubilant attitude, there is evidence in Susan's eyes that she's seen more of the ugly side of life than the average person and she can seem very tightly wound because of it, like she's constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Bouncing back and forth between being very serious and professional and giggling like a schoolgirl playing hooky, kind of like she keeps forgetting which one she is supposed to be at any given moment, Susan also gives off the impression of a pampered rich girl who is just now rebeling against her rich family by doing something reckless and embarrassing.


History:
Born to an affluent Boston family, Susan grew up with an old-fashioned and somewhat controlling father and mother.   They wanted her to have the same life they had, but she was horrified at the idea of being the society wife of a Jewish lawyer.   Either because of that or her own nature, she drove herself to succeed in school, as well as rebelling ever chance she got.    She was eventually an uber-nerd, working on her PhD in Computer Sciences and playing computer games, and had discovered a fondness for boys and girls.   Marriage down the road wasn't out of the question, but she wasn't sure who'd she would end up with, and while fearing her family's reaction, was almost perversely looking forward to it.

She was currently working on her dissertation on AI simulation when she the brilliant, beautiful, vivacious but insecure woman developed a crush on Claudia, one of the Psychology TAs from an Abnormal Psych class who was obsessed with the supernatural.   Though dismissive of anything non-scientific, the smitten girl-nerd let the pretty redhead talk her into designing and building equipment to find ghosts, and the genius computer tech made something better than "professionals" had.   She was off to test it, now as much intrigued by the challenge of finding ghosts as she was of winning Claudia's heart.



Abilities:
Genius level IQ and an almost magical knowledge of computer and electronics.   Picks up new skills quickly, and learned self defense from classes and from a brief stint in a medieval recreation group, as well as tactics from first person shooter games and other simulations.    Her physical skills are only mildly above average, being more energetic than proficient.   Her social skills have improved dramatically over the years, but she still sees herself as the awkward nerd she used to be, not the beautiful scientist that she's become.
