Halora was born at Southern Weyr, and was fostered in the Lower Caverns. A typical weyrbrat, she began to Stand for clutches at 13, but it wasn't until she was fifteen that she Impressed Green Sirenth.

She is a lovely red-head with a slim, muscled but curvy figure. Passionate and fiery, her beauty has only ripened. Over the turns, she became something of a mother figure to weyrlings and younger weyr-folk as she loves children and young people. When Sea Cliff Weyr was founded, she and Sirenth thought a change would be good for them and put in for a transfer. She has resumed being motherly and kind to the younger riders and weyrbrats. For men and women her own age, though, there's nothihg motherly about her!
