Personality:
Tegan has a lively personality and proudly wears Harper blue.  She is observant and tends to see the humor and irony in situations.  She knows her teaching ballads , and is happy to instruct the young.  She knows the sad songs, like the one Menolly wrote for Petiron, but her favorites are the ones that bring joy and fun into people’s lives to relieve the stresses and ease the tedious tasks.  Intelligent and quick-witted, the Master Harper has confidence in her ability to go anywhere on Pern and represent Harper Hall well.

Tegan is a slender young woman of average height.  She has long dark brown hair and blue eyes.  She ineveitably wears Harper blue, be it dresses or tunic and trousers for travel.

Brief History:
Tegan is originally from Benden Hold, but was apprenticed to the Harper Hall at ten turns, so she has spent the last 10 turns at Fort Hold/Harper Hall.  She is proficient at a variety of the tasks of a harper, but not stellar at any of them.  For that reason, she was steered toward a general course of study rather than specialization.  This makes her flexible and capable -- well-suited for a place in Weyr or Hold or Hall.  This suits her personality and she’s quite happy with the way things have turned out.  She’s excited to have been promoted to Journeyman and sees the years ahead as a grand adventure.
