Description: See Picture. Medlir prefers nondescript clothing when travelling, but has a fine Harper blue tunic to wear when called on to perform.

Brief History: Medlir's always been curious. That often got him into trouble, particularly when a youngster at Fort Hold, where his folks were herders for successive Lord Holders. Being one of the few younglings who could actually hold a tune when learning his Teaching Ballads helped save his hide, and as he got older he became fascinated not just with music but with legends as well. His favoured instrument is a drum, but like most good Harpers he can play most anything - not to mention make and mend instruments too. His curiousity has led him to be interested in the world around him too, he enjoys exploring, studying - and sketching - plants and animals, and has learned to make maps over the past couple of years, preparing for a posting to the Southern Continent.
