Hiro Kajima

Callsign/Nickname: Lightning
Sex: Male
Age: 21
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 150 lbs
Physical Build/Description: short, but powerfully built, Hiro has a gymnast's build. He keeps his hair short and due to the length and how it normally lays, it spikes up quite easily, especially if he doesn't wash it for a day or so.

Disposition: Calm, quiet, sincere. Also known to go into a "silent" rage when angered. He's definitely one of the quiet ones you've been warned about.
Outlook on Earth: Indifferent; If it can be freed from the Invid, it begins to matter. Right now it's just one more world enslaved by the Invid. Like all worlds enslaved by the invid, it deserves to be freed. Agrees with the intent to free it, but fails to see the need for a rush - build up forces and then attack from a position of strength.

Relationship to Teammates: None

Background/History: As a young, but promising, rookie Lightning was assigned to Wolf Squadron in their hunt for Ghost Squadron and Col. Edwards. Hiro acquitted himself well against the Invid above Optera, but his capture was inevitable. When he began demanding to know why fellow humans would work with the Invid, he was surprised by the answer. It was reckless and dangerous, but it had a chance of working. "But at what cost?" Still, it was hard to argue with the results. Despite the fact that he began to see why the members of Ghost Squadron would follow such a plan, the fact remained they were foes because of orders from on high. Still, Hiro did his best to keep bloodshed of humans to a minimum, including talking down a few enemies when they were surrounded. The invid drones were offered no such niceties.

Now, six months after the Battle over Reflex Point, Hiro can't help but wonder was any of it worth it? The earth is reclaimed, but the cost was so high. Most of the time he lets "little" things like that flow past him. Now he simply works to complete whatever tasks are set before him.
