A middle-aged Egyptian man living in Cairo. Former antique dealer and fence for items and artefacts stolen by grave robbers. Now runs a book shop in the Old City by the al-Hussein Mosque. He is horribly scarred by a fire some years ago that destroyed his shop and took the life of his family. Unbalanced by the loss of all he held dear, he is somewhat unbalanced and has become more devout, but some remains of the greedy trader he once was still remains.
