Tina Marie Lassiter grew up on the outskirts of the Okifinokee Swamp in Hendry County, Florida. As a teenager she learned how to hunt with her uncles. She went to college, earning a degree in Criminology. In her mid 20's she joined the Hendry County Sheriff's department. Frustrated with her lack of advancement through the ranks and sexism of her colleagues, she quit to join Morrow Petroleum's security division in Louisiana. There she gained the notice of recruiters.

She is a member of the AMC (African Methodist Church), daughter of Darryl and Marie Lassiter. After her mother passed away, she was mainly raised by her grandmother. She has four brothers: Darnell, Kevin, Mike and Lawrence. None are part of the Project.

She is the team Scout and demo expert, and backup vehicle gunner.
