At a stocky 4 foot 9, Thoban isn't winning any height challenges, though he would merely grumble that it will make it easier to achieve longbeard status. Nearly as wide as he is tall, though no one could mistake any of it for spare fat, his forearms are pockmarked with scars from many a burning ember from his forge. When garbed for battle, he bears rune axe with a battered shield, and his plate armour, though mere steel, bears runes of it's own that reflect light with silvered grace.

Hailing from the hold of Karak Azgaraz, he made the drunken boast that he would rediscover some of the old, forgotten runes, and now makes his way to find companions to follow him into the old karaks. And he will likely need to make sure they are properly protected with runic items in order to succeed.
