Rain Feather

"Just... get out of my way and go train, or something."

Rain's face and manner of speech identify her as from somewhere near the Kirlundin Isles, and the fishing spear she carries further claim it.  Nobody's ever really felt like asking her, though- "It'd be easier to teach a Giak math than to get Rain Feather to open up," is just one of the lines that has often been spouted about the mysterious Kai.

She normally hangs out with Sun Fox and doesn't really talk much- appreciating the pace she sets for her workouts much more than conversation.  Some would say she's civil to the point of politeness, but any attempt to explore beyond that either ends up with a pointed word to "Please... just go away, all right?" or even a glare.

Her Kai outfit consists of a dark green cloak, and dark clothes with white detail accenting her curves and sleeves. Her black hair is bound into a braid that she keeps hanging down her back.  Those bright blue eyes of hers just seem to bore into you if you're ever unlucky enough to get her angry.

Rain's former name is Masari Nematah- the granddaughter of the former Wytch of the Kirlundin Isles, Aieta Nematah. Though she has no access to her grandmother's powers, her legacy seems to have followed her, promising pain and death to follow in her footsteps- her own, or perhaps... others?

More recently, however, Rain has been seen acting more cheerful, more happy, more... human, as some others would call it.  Something happened in a cave back at the Maakengorge to cause this to happen, but from what some of her friends have mentioned, Rain finally seems to have achieved peace with herself- something that she's unknowingly sought ever since the day she was brought to the monastery.  For once, something besides frost gleams in the eyes of the Ice Queen- the light of hope is softening those ice blue eyes, and those who seek to stand against her should watch out- when she stands with her friends, there isn't much of anything that should get in her way.
