Brief Bio: An elder Malkavian can be both a dangerous ally and enemy. Martin hailed from someplace in England, Martin came from a wealthy enough merchant family to afford an education but as he was born with poor eyesight and quickly went blind, few options were open to him. The burgeoning field of philosophy gave him the opportunity to expand his mind even with his lack of eyesight and Martin was on his way to becoming a famous philosopher, especially his treaties on the French-Indian War when his work caught the attention of his sire who embraced him so Martin could turn that mind onto the Malkavian curse.

Martin exceeded his sires expectations, becoming obsessed with unraveling the truth. Martin refused to participate in politics and the Jyhad for a hundred years. What happened around the turn of the century, however, is unknown. Martin suddenly emerged from his seclusion, traveled to America and quickly sired a small brood.

He entered kindred politics carefully, sticking to the shadows, keeping himself a mystery and an enigma. It was known that he wasn't a supporter of Prince Juan but beyond that, he stays far away from other kindred besides his clan members.

So much of Martin is a mystery that not only do few know what he looks like, nobody knows what his curse is. In every dealing, Martin appears completely calm and controlled, fully present and aware of his surroundings which is a sharp contrast to other Malkavians. Some whisper that his century rumination was successful, that he did overcome the Malkavian curse.

Of course, Martin isn't revealing anything.
