Brief Bio: Nigel was born for war. Born during the American Civil War, it was rumored that he was actually born during the Battle of Fort Sumter, the first battle that led to one of the deadliest wars of its time.

Growing up around constant violence left its mark on Nigel. He joined the army at 14 years old, fighting ongoing battles against Native Americans as the United States consumed region after region of the West. Nigel is tight lipped about this period of time and his actual military service is unknown. It is rumored that he was one of the army men responsible for the Wounded Knee Massacre as shortly after that time he was discharged and his military service records were burned.

Drifting around without a war to fight, he encountered Martin who embraced him to serve as a foot soldier in a higher war. Around this time, the Sabbat were causing the Camarilla trouble and Martin needed both a bodyguard and someone to do the things that the blind elder couldn't. Once again, Nigel proved incredibly adept at matters of war, using his newly acquired gifts to bring unholy hell down upon the Sabbat. When they were crushed, there were lupines to fight. Then mages. Then vampire hunters. Then the Sabbat. Wherever Nigel went, he left a body count too large to tally.

His skills earned him a place as Sheriff and he was one of the most brutal and successful Sheriffs the city has ever seen. He might still be the Sheriff he hadn't killed a few "collateral" targets that earned him the ire of the Prince.

It is well known that Nigel has some form of psychopathy. He is cold and ruthless even by kindred standards. He was a monster long before he was embraced and only very careful control by his sire and the Prince keeps him in line. Even "badasses" like Edge shiver to think what would happen if the leash came off.
