Oscar is a muscular, well-groomed young man from northeastern Kansas. He has a bit of a darker tone to his skin than many of those from that part, and has black hair to match probably owing to a having a little bit of Cherokee in him. His eyes are a striking blue that are shockingly at odds with the rest of his features. His face is youthful, but he generally keeps a trimmed beard and mustache to demonstrate that he is, in fact, in his early twenties.

His family ranch is somewhere between Abilene and Salina, though north of the Kansas River. The profitable White Ranch pays most of its taxes to Salina, and is considered to be in one of the divided areas, where people who support the claims of both nations tend to live. The White family has a reputation for getting the job done, and doing it with no small amount of cunning, strategy, and superior gunplay.
