Melisahndre (or just "Mel" to friends and close associates, or anyone else who buys her a drink) is an athletic young woman of average height, typically dressed in light, hooded leather armor cut to make riding easier. Her blue-gray eyes lighten and darken with her various moods, but her face is generally quirked in a sly smile, and her expressive, graceful eyebrows leave no doubt as to the often mischievous thoughts working through her clever brain.

While overall an optimistic and upbeat person, Mel has been around enough to know better than to wander Golarion unarmed, and has at least five daggers on her person at any given time (that you can see), in addition to the massive, metal-bound book leashed by a short length of heavy chain to her belt. She tends to joke and tease even when it may seem inappropriate, and can be as headstrong and spontaneous as she is deadly with her various knives.
