With a rounded, pretty face, Mary might turn a couple of heads as she passes by, but she wouldn't quite stand out in a crowd. With her hair currently cut very short, and her eyes a bright, stunning blue, she looks rather tomboyish, and with a bit of work could most likely pass as very feminine man. Though her appearance may not draw attention, when she speaks, she's fully capable of pulling the attention of everyone in the room directly to her when she wants to. Her words seem to almost have a weight to them, drawing people in and almost forcing them to listen to her normally cheerful voice. Occasionally, this ability is somewhat offset by the near perpetual smirk on her face, as if she knows a joke that no one else does.

While nowhere near the peak of human ability, Mary is no slouch when it comes to comes to the more physical arts. Keeping in shape was something of a habit of hers before she entered the Fae, and she kept up with it quite well while there. Toned, compact, and rather lithe, Mary isn't what one would call a large person, which is often surprising given how much space she seems to fill. While not large physically, her personality more than makes up for it, easily filling two to three times the space she encompasses.

Mary almost always wears a greatcoat that reaches halfway down her calf. Seeing her out of it is something of a rarity, and she often only takes it off when cleaning herself, or if she's working on something particularly intricate. Call it paranoia, but it's kept her alive more than once. The coat itself appears normal at first glance, a simple dark purple with silver threading and large silver buttons. On closer inspection, the fabric itself has been stitched with some sort of black thread in swirls and runes. That and the fact that the silver threading is actual silver might make some people a bit wary.  Under her coat, she's currently wearing a simple blue and grey suit, though it seems a bit off on closer inspection. Namely because it was put together somewhere other than Earth. Usually, strapped to her right thigh, she keeps Amber, her mare's leg style pistol, of the .44 magnum variety.

On her head is a simple dark purple fedora with a silver brim, though at a closer look it's been modified much the same way as her coat. She can often be seen wearing a pair of silver rimmed, polarised  Ray-Bans, though the lenses always seem to be red. Finishing her ensemble is an older green backpack with a small variety of smiley faces pinned to the straps.

When it comes down to it, Mary is something of a cheerful, rather forceful person. Extremely intelligent and capable, she often knows much more than she lets on, hiding anything and everything behind a thick layer of snark and jokes. Almost overly talkative, it can be oddly discomforting to be around her when she's quiet. And, when trying to convince her to do something she doesn't particularly want to do, it's quite akin to slamming one's head into an alchemically reinforced metal wall. She's stubborn, obstinate, prideful, and practically refuses to not do things the way she thinks they should be done.
