Dale is most often seen wearing polished black leather from throat to toes and an assortment of jewelry.  He wears his shirts with the bottom buttons left undone to show off the fact that his bellybutton is pierced.  He wears his blond hair short and slicked back from his eyes.

Dale is vain and selfish but has an annoying heroic streak that he doesn't like to acknowledge.  He adventures for the money and power but also just to stave off the boredom.  He often argues with the sentient longsword that he carries with him and calls it James just to annoy it.  (Least threatening name ever.)
