Character description:
Hex takes after his father in stature and stands at 5ft9 but he is a lot broader and more heavily muscled than Duran and this makes him seem shorter. His hair is cut short on the back and sides and slightly longer and spiked on top, a dark auburn in colour closer to his paternal grand parents than his father with a hint of his mothers reddish hair, his eyes are the vivid green of his mother and his nose has a slight knot just at the top of his nose that is usually covered by the shades he wears when he's not wearing his helmet.

His arms are corded with muscles and a tattoo resembling Tapani script circles either biceps, many small scars run along his forearms and his knuckles are scarred with the numerous marks of a lifetime of brawling. His chin is usually graced with a five o'clock shadow before midday and a couple of burn marks mar the otherwise smooth skin of his neck and shoulders. If you ever are unlucky enough to see him without shoes on you get the distinct pleasure of learning that he only has nine toes, the top join of his small toe on his left foot is missing.

Hex oozes nonchalance, a devil may care attitude and a thrill seeking out look has defined all the important aspects of Hex' life and all the important conflicts. He is stubborn, hard headed and difficult to get on with if you try and stop him from getting what he wants, but if you can get him on your side there is no enemy or difficulty he will not fight for you. Soldiering has taught him many lessons about camaraderie and working as part of a team and his Force Training has taught him that all things are connected, together these things shape him into a good team player, if you can steer clear of butting heads with him.

There is an air of casual danger that surrounds Hex, he's not intimidating but he usually wears a number of weapons and moves in a way that suggests to the trained observer that he knows how to use them and isn't afraid to do so. He wears a black combat jump suit with what seems to be dark red 'racing stripes' running down the length of his arms and legs. A blaster rifle, a militia issue Tapani Talon, hangs over his shoulder, a scope is attached to it and it seems to have seen more than it's fair share of wear and tear just like the heavy blaster pistol strapped to his right thigh. A utility belt with a power recharger hanging at the back and a lightsaber on his left hip. When powered up the blade of the lightsaber gives off a vermillion orange colour.
