Ambrose Passero
Ambrose has an androgynous, elf-like appearance to him. His hair is long and white like snow, his arms and legs long, frame skinny. Once his hair shone as black as raven wings, but that was a very long time ago. His eyes are bi-color, one red, the other blue. He can barely see out of his red eye, so mainly keeps it covered by a fall of snowy fringe.
Ambrose has the Alice ability to manipulate living matter. For instance, he could grow wings on a cat or person, heal a wound, restore a broken spine, or change someone's age from old to young and vice~versa. However, this ability requires him to be in complete control, and the knowledge doesn't come naturally to him, so he must study the concept in order to guide his ability to achieve the desired effect.
However, Ambrose's ability is slowly killing him every time he uses it. Despite all his research and experimentation, he still hasn't unlocked the key to keeping his ability from ultimately killing him prematurely.
He's rather off-kilter, and the only one who can control him is Lord Reizen. However, Reizen hasn't been seen, officially, in quite some time...
SECRETS:
1. Akin to a vampire, Ambrose can steal the life from a person and take it for himself with a simple touch; this is the key to his very long life. Humans die almost instantly, but Alices last much, much longer.
2. Ren Katohika and Kaoruko-Hime are his precious "children" (prisoners), and have been for over 80 years. Ren, because of his limitless telepathic abilities, and Kaoruko because of her utter uniqueness--no one else in the history of Alices has ever been able to summon sentient aliens before. He keeps them in perpetual youth, reverting them from young adults to children every twenty years. This unnatural act is allowed with Ambrose's excuse that he does not wish to outlive his "children," and that, as children, they are far less dangerous to society.
3. Ambrose Passero has been alive for almost two-hundred years; more than ample time to have his long, spindly fingers in every pot imaginable. In that time, he has ingratiated himself with the Reizen family as an Alice without peer; a wise advisor that has guided every Reizen heir since the 1880s. He knows them inside and out... and how to manipulate them to his own ends.
4. Unlocking the secret of Alice power is his true goal, and the only reason he remains at the Academy as young Alices provide him with priceless data for his research. His ultimate desire is to give himself the power of all Alices... And he believes Lord Reizen, with his multiple Alices, is the secret ingredient to his life's work.
