http://rpol.creativelass.net/nsa032.jpg Background/History:  Gunndelore is the fifth son of one of planetary governors, who is related to the royal family, who rule the planet, by marriage.   Since he was a royal in a sense, he was required to prove himself.   So he, meaning Gunndelore, joined the Space Rangers after getting his xenobiology degree from the Planetary University.   However before joining the space Rangers or even going to school, for that mattered, he joined his planet's defense force.   Where he learned to to operate heavy ship weapons.   He served about 10 years in the military before going to school.
