Background/History:Joan Tempest is a demolitions expert for her father's oil-drilling company. A rival was trying to sabotage the company, and substituted dangerous accellerants for packaged materials. When those elements were used, the resulting explosion and fire coated Joan and her brother Mark with fast-burning flames. They were both treated at the Burn ward with experimental skin grafts and regrowth chemicals, which resulted in her ability to summon those flames again (and her brother with unknown abilities), which no longer harm her. She has learned how to control these flames to the point where she can fly, tunnel, or immolate another person at will.

Personality/Motivation:Very tough and abrasive. It isn't until one takes the time to know her that she mellows, at which point she becomes very easy to work with. Men
 who bleed machismo, however, always set her on edge.

Powers/Tactics: Flashpoint uses her flight to keep a distance, and uses her immolation against agents and normals when necessary. She saves her EB for tough opponents. She isn't above using Tunnelling for coming up behind a foe.
