Esos is tall, has lean muscles and black hair. This being his twenty fifth year of life he is no stranger to battle. His primary role is supporting some of the heavier linesmen by using his speed and deadly bladed gauntlets in tandem with their heavy defense. He is fierce in battle and tends to chose lightly armored targets or exploit gaps in those wearing plate or chain mail. Esos is somewhat of a craftsman and spends a great deal of time with his obsidian armor as it needs constant upkeep, although he has been known to make glass pieces for others.


 The obsidian armor was originally designed by his grandfather when the people of his village decided to rebel against their current leadership. They had no access to iron but his family were glassblowers and similar craftspeople. Together after many failures they found a way to make this volcanic glass into both a weapon and an armor. A group of men armed in this way managed to overcome the chief's personal guard and slay him. Esos was brought up learning to use this armor and craft it by his father. They discovered a way to create the obsidian using a special type of silica and high heat.

Esos eventually discovers he is gifted with fire magic which he uses to fix his armor. His power allows him to create high intensity fire however it is draining, time consuming, and has has little potential in battle. He is also capable of snuffing out fire, this part of his power is almost innate and requires little effort on his part. This magic has gotten him out of many hot situations in the past and as earned him the title, The Unburning. Magic is tabu in his home and has been cast out, he joined the Company as a means of survival. For him the Company is a place he can call home.

Esos has a cold personality and speaks little to others, however his loyalty to the Grave Company is without question. He stands just under six feet tall, is well muscled, and extremely lean. The only exception to his frozen demeanor seems to revolve around those seemingly shunned, dejected, or otherwise unaccepted by others.
