Mike wears his straight black hair so that it just barely stays out of his eyes, and attends to it the absolute minimum amount to keep it within reason every morning, with slightly scruffy but very charming results, which are added to by an almost perpetual five o'clock shadow. His features are strong and handsome, and his eyes lively and bright, a little lighter than his hair and a good deal darker than his skin. He's tall and slender, even skinny, and could even be called lanky except that he moves gracefully and carries himself with a certain assurance, and certain confidence.

His dress matches his general appearance, not neat but attractive. He's most comfortable in old jeans and a t-shirt, and failing that he's usually wearing an ancient leather trenchcoat, thoroughly worn, over simple pull-over shirts and slacks, often second-hand.
