Sarah Smith, AKA Bubbler, was a peripatetic music teacher around Salisbury when the S Wave hit. She joined SHIELD when her husband (the Torch) did, out of a sense of determination to do her best.

Currently she is standing in as governor of Moon Base 1 and in charge of all SHIELD forces on the moon... Something that often leaves her wondering 'how did I get here?'
