Nathan is slightly taller than average and fairly solidly built, with wavy sandy hair and hazel eyes.  His face often has a serious look about it but the twinkle in his eyes tells the true tale of his mood which is brightest when he's piloting or tinkering about in his mech. Thanks to corrective surgery he doesn't have to wear glasses while reading, which he seems to do a great deal of, mostly data sheets and electronics manuals.  You may, if you can catch him off-guard, notice highlights from recent S7 matches on his tablet instead.

Recently Nathan was killed in action during a standard training exercise that went wrong. Shot several times in the back by a group of Militiamen who have now been identified as members of the Rassalhague Reunification Movement, a group that claims that Bensinger as well as several other Tamar March planets should be handed over to the Free Rassalhage Republic, as well as a xenophobic stance on citizens of the Draconis Combine.
