Dawn Hanson is an ice killer, a borderline psychopath who gets the job done at any cost.

Born in England, she was orphaned at the age of 13 and adopted by her uncle, a rural farmer in the Transvaal. There, she became a respected member of the local Commando unit, using her developing sniper skills to protect the local community from poachers and raiders.

When the Commandos were disbanded, she sold her services abroad, as a mercenary, eventually returning to England where she inherited her father's country house in Surrey.

When the Plague hit, Dawn signed up for a mercenary platoon under Lieutenant Whistler, employed by the UK Government to clear the Isles of Scilly.
