Lady of the Crag

Myriah was born to House Lannister and is an aunt of Lord Willas. At a young age, she was wed to the wealthy and much older Lord Petyr Westerling, whose family controlled excellent fishing waters as well as a number of lucrative mines.

The pair struggled to have children, and healers from all parts of Westeros and the East were brought in to assist. After a stillbirth and a few miscarriages, two healthy children were at last delivered, two years apart. The first was a boy called Lyras, after an ancient ancestor, and the second a girl named Joelle.

Petyr passed away two years ago and Lord Lannister declared her the ruler of the Crag until her son came of age.

Myriah, now in her mid-thirties, is known for her cleverness and shrewdness. She has a head for numbers and keeps all her own books, and scrutinizes all of the operations in her lands. Under her leadership, safety in the mines has increased and so has productivity. She has given low interest loans to fishermen or farmers trying to start a business, or to those who are in dire need. The lady is known for paying her servants a very fair wage and for aiding women who have been abused by their spouses or other male family members.
