Chiara of Myr

Captain of the Scarlet Serpent

Chiara is one of the commanders amongst the Sealord's fleet in times of war, and when at peace runs dangerous trade routes for showers of gold. She was educated alongside the Sealord in Myr for a few years, when they were younger.

Her parents were some of the most famed artisans of their time in Myr. Her mother wove the very finest tapestries, while her father was a renowned painter.  They had Chiara later in life, spoiled her with an excellent education, and left everything to her after they passed during a sickness.

With her fortune, Chiara was able to become a merchant captain, and soon had a small fleet of her own. She eventually used some of her gold to commission a shop of her own design: sleek, fast and strong, with beautiful decorations. The Scarlet Serpent was painted dark red and bearing motifs of scales, teeth, and other beastly or maritime scenes. The prow of the ship was carved into the face of a fierce serpent, its eyes sparkling in the sunlight.
