Father of Anna Morgan, Oliver is a lean Welshman somewhat over average height, with dark brown hair running to salt and pepper.   His grey eyes often suggest a pensive mood, when they are not appraising a person or situation. His sense of humor leans to the dry, when he exercises it at all, which is infrequent.

From a well to do family, Oliver added to their prosperity when he joined his cousin in this country to found a merchant banking enterprise.
