Boreas stands about a head higher than the highborn in the group, half a head above most humans.  His build is more stout than average.  He has short, black hair and a black beard looks like it hasn't been groomed anytime recently.  He wears earth-toned armor and has a shortbow and quiver slung over his back - hunter's garb.

But his most arresting feature is unquestionably the faceted emerald that takes the place of his left eye.  It always carries a gleam, sometimes from the opposite direction as the light.  He covers it with an eyepatch most of the time.
