Topping close to seven feet and about four hundred pounds Asterion is pushing the limits on what someone might call big and tall but in Minotaur terms he was a downright runt.  When out of his heavy armour the corded muscle on his legs, torso and arms is very notable and he also seems to be 'more human looking' than the average Minotaur.  Sure he still has the bull head and horns but his fur is sparse to non-existent elsewhere on his body and the usual reversed legs on the larger Minotaur's seem to be missing for him making him both a runt and a mutant as far as other Minotaur's are concerned.

Still his plate armoured chest is well protected and his arms are extra maneuverable with the addition of finely wrought scales rather than hard plate and his legs protected by a strange looking metal lamellar process.  All of it gives maximum protection but it's the massive tower shield that marks him out as truly unusual.  Tall as he is the entire thing is seemingly made of the mystically light Mithral and the filigree on the front matches the signet ring on his hand, that of a pair of bulls horns and crossed war-axes like the one he wields below.
