Crown Princess of Eru

Melaria comes from the strongest line of Arkanian offshoots, who established their own kingdom on a cold climate moon which turned out to have hidden deposits of precious metals and gems. The little moon of Eru soon became a wealthy world, one with a traditional class-based structure. Due to the wealth, Eru has been the target of greedy bandits and Hutts, but their contracted militia and advanced defence systems have kept the moon mostly safe.

Melaria is the only child of Emperor Mirak and his wife, Empress Larana. Due to her father's ill health, Eru eventually established peaceful relations with the Empire, principally so that he and her mother could journey to a Coruscant so that he could be treated by the doctors and Sith. In his absence, Melaria is the ruler of Eru.

In the past weeks, there has been chatter that a kidnapping might be attempted, and repeated failures of the defensive system, though only for minutes at a time. Her parents have asked the Sith to send someone to watch over their daughter until their return.
