Jhymm is a very handsome young human with a light complexion despite the tan he has picked up from years on the water as a youth where from a very young age, he was helping his father, Marss'm sailing in the Drastian sea on his ship, The Marlin and fishing that same sea if the commissions were coming more slowly.

As he grew older, Jhymm came in to his beautiful singing voice, which he used to attract buyers for his father's wares.  It was then that a Bard, M'nzark discovered Jhymm's undeniable talent and took him on as an apprentice.  M'nzark trained Jhymm for four years and has now declared Jhymm to be a Journeyman deemed ready to go out into the world and earn himself a living from his trade.

It is entirely possible that M'nzark declared Jhymm graduated earlier than he should, not because of a lack of talent but because Jhymm believes himself even better than he is and lacks the charm which should be expected to accompany such talent if it is to succeed.
