Rolemaster - City of Intrigue
Welcome to Havenin, a near-metropolis in the kingdom of Nephaldria. A large port city, with a sizable body of water; the Drastian Sea to its West, and the Vilkainen mountains to the East. The city is built upon an empire of salt, but, the bold taste scarcely covers the rank and atrocious stench beneath. As the great noble houses have given-way to hedonism: lesser houses and previously fractured guilds have risen to vie for power among the sprawling streets and districts of the beautiful city. But, few factions care to maintain the majesty within the expansive walls, instead each searching for their own means to power. But, with every vacuum of power, comes ready opportunity for sell-swords, magical power seekers, and even opportunistic rogues. Good and evil are relative when placed in the balance of the city's turnings and coin jingles. How will you live? What tale will the minstrels sing of you in the dive taverns and on the docks?A campaign centered around the city's intrigue, with plenty of opportunities to leave the city for questing, spelunking, and generally stretching one's legs. Looking for 2-4 players to join me in playtesting the RMU system. (Beta2, of course).
