Personality: Genteel and urbane, one would expect someone of her background and profession to be aloof and mysterious. Instead, Valentina is warm, expressive and flirty. Physical Description: A lush Italian beauty with dark hair, dark eyes and alabaster skin, Valentina has a face not unlike a Roman statue with high cheekbones set in a heart-shaped face. Preferring to dress formally in black dresses, some joke that her true special power is the able to run and fight in a tight gown and high heels.

Background: The child of wealth and privilege, Valentina is the child of Italian business moguls who have extensive interests in shipping and maritime trade. Her interests however lay in the tales of her maternal uncle. Uncle Paolo often told her stories out of myth and legend. Of the Roman gods who were worshipped by their ancient ancestors. Of monsters and heroes. Tales that made a lot more sense when Valentina started to awaken to her powers. It was foretold that she was the new Viridian Libram, she who drew power of the Old Gods. The Librams were creatures that maintained the Balance, able to work wonders and miracles. As one of five, Valentina was meant for a special destiny. Of her fellows she only knows of their purview, the Silver Libram who called upon angels, the Scarlet Libram who summoned demons, the Azure Libram who channeled the legends of humanity’s greatest heroes and the Onyx Libram that embodied monsters.

Valentina however refused to let her background and powers to define her. Attending the University of Bologna, she showed an aptitude for intelligence work that got her attention from the local agencies. Recruited into the Agenzia Informazioni e Sicurezza Esterna (AISE), Italy’s External Intelligence Agency, Valentina made her own money as an intelligence analyst. Cross trained to be able to perform as command and control for a paramilitary team in the field, Valentina managed to receive a rather eclectic set of skills from her profession. Her parents heartily encouraged her career, after all having a person skilled in ferreting secrets could only be a good thing for them.
