5'10", 150 lbs Gymnast build. Shoulder length dark brown hair-usually kept up in a ponytail. Light blue eyes that are often playful/mischievous. She has 3 tattoos: a dolphin on her right hip, a dove on her back between her shoulder blades, and green footprints on her left ribs.

Background:
 Karen was born and raised in Kansas City Kansas.  She has two younger brothers, both married with children. She is not married and has no children. Always wanting to help others led her to want to be a nurse, that want led her to The Air Force recruiting office right out of high school. She joined the Pararescue unit. 11 years later, she is a staff Sargent and has completed her bachelors degree in nursing.
 As a kid, her brothers gave her the nickname Carebear. Once her fellow PJs learned it they adopted it too. Her senior master Sargent put her name in because he knew she’s capable of handling whatever is thrown at her and that she would be an asset to Stargate Command.

Personality:
Sweet and sassy, laid-back, open book type. Serious when called for. Cool, calm, collected under pressure. Mama Hennish at times. Strong need to be helpful. Hard-working.
