Ileana appears to be a delicate, pretty woman of about 30 years, but appearances can be deceiving. While she appears about 30, her three daughters commonly accompany her, and the eldest of them is 18 (in 1220). Ileana is tiny, standing only 5'2", weighing about 95 lb, and not having a lot of muscle, but she is a lot tougher than she appears. Her irises are her most startling feature, appearing a reddish that at closer examination appears to be forge-fire rather than an unusual red. As her irises could be startling, she tends to disguise them when not among magi. While her luxurious, dark hair and her smooth, pale skin are what make her most attractive, they are also her least surprising features. That she keeps herself impeccably well groomed at all times enhances her appearance, too.

While trying to be stylish, Ileana is also a creature of habit. She tends to wear the same general types of clothing and most of the same jewelry. Her signature jewelry are her charm bracelets, made of steel with charms carrying Hermetic markings and related appearances. These charms are her casting tools, though she does not seem to need to wave them about as other Verditii do. For clothing she prefers gowns with long sleeves and hoods, the long sleeves hiding her casting tools and the hood making it easier to hide her eyes if she must. ***

Surprisingly for a magus, especially for a Verditius as opposed to a Jerbiton, for instance, Ileana seems to be Gently Gifted. ***

Ileana grew up at The Oppidum of Lycaneon, originally training as a forge-companion for Archmagus Zalmoxis of Verditius. Her Gift emerged late, and as she was aging slowly and maturing slowly, it emerged that much later. When her Gift did manifest itself, Zalmoxis took her as his apprentice. ***
