Freyr Aegisdottir

Meara's (former) handmaiden and personal instructor in all things, Freyr is not a native Venusian (she's a Saturnite), but she is still a very well respected retainer of Meara's family, which is what landed her the position as Meara's personal tutor and, if worst comes to worst, protector.  Patient, diligent, beautiful, and well mannered, Freyr is essentially the Yin to Meara's Yang when it comes to their apparent personalities.  In all honesty, the two of them get along much better than most would expect, let alone imagine.  They are very close, and Meara respects Freyr very, very much.

Freyr has instructed Meara on everything from how to behave and speak to how to pilot Armour, how to fight, and how to navigate the world of noble politics.  To her end, she's done an absolutely amazing job at all of her duties.  The problem is her student not quite understanding, in her heart, just what she's being groomed for.  For Freyr's part, she's also worked a bit to shelter Meara from some of the harshness of reality, and knows that sooner or later, that sheltering is going to bite back, and bite back hard.

So, for now, she's trying to make up for lost time and ensure the bite is not so hard it breaks Meara's heart.

She still has many reasons to try and put her own face through a wall, desk, or nearby object in frustration when dealing with Meara in public, however.
