Suey 'Chop' Benten

Character's Name:  Suey "Chop" Benten

Character's Age:  23 or thereabouts (she's not exactly sure herself)

Animal Species:  Wild Boar

Animal Adaptations:  Keen nose, small tusks, tough hide

Psionics/Magic: Mind Block (always on)

Appearance:  Buxom butch badass biker boar babe--dyed green hide, coarse headfur pulled back into a tight braid, and a wardrobe in which black leather, chains, and denim predominate.  Her preferred weapon is a three foot hexagonal carbon steel crowbar.  She also carries a chain or two, several knives, and knows how to use a gun (but doesn't have one).

Personality:  Seriously macha tomboy with a chivalrous streak and a soft spot for innocents in distress.  She is especially vicious when defending people she cares about--these days, that means her fellow survivors.

Background:  Suey Benten was born in the saddle.  Her people were nomads of the blacktop with no real roots, homeland, or organization...when they weren't fighting the Humans, they fought amongst each other or earned a bad reputation by raiding their more settled kinfolk.  Raised on the road by her mother, Suey was orphaned in her early teens when an ambush by Human military forces killed the rest of her band.  She survived by a whim of fate, and was taken in for a few years by a small settlement.  She believed her new home was a simple farming community but later discovered that her benefactors were one of those pesky little communities of covert martial artists that cause so much trouble for would-be warlords.  While they did not train her (she already knew how to fight!), they did give her many things to think about, a nickname, and a new trike.

She ran into Deliverance almost by accident (another of fate's whimsies?) and joined up on the flimsy excuse that a cute girl invited her along for the ride.  She's been with the gang ever since, contributing muscle where needed and enjoying herself.

Something bad happened to her before the last battle with the Blood Bathers, and it still haunts her.

Bike:  She used to drive a heavily modified trike she affectionately called her "Hawg".  It was destroyed along with the Bathers' Fortress, and she's made do ever since with a salvaged bike that's sort of half Imperial scrap and half scratch-built hybrid Harley.  It's tough enough to carry her easily, plus a pair of .30 cal machineguns with drum mags mounted along either side of the headlight.
