After The Bomb: Have Bikes, Will Travel (Part 3)

(shamelessly ripped off from the original)

Something has happened.  They call it, the "Big Death".  Some say it was a nuclear war, some say it was a bio-terrorist attack, but whatever happened, the world has been ripped up one side and down the other.  Humanity is no longer the dominant species here...and many animals have mutated, gaining human-like forms and human-like intelligence, yet keeping much of their animal adaptations.  The world has turned upside down, becoming something of a frontier with different groups scrambling for whatever Pre-Death technology they can get, mostly vehicles and guns.  If you got vehicles and guns, you've got power and the means to survive.

...

I'm looking for people who are interested in a cross between post-apocalyptic TMNT and Road Warrior.  Hope to see you soon and drive safely.

(end plagiarized repetition)

There once was a biker gang called Deliverance, and as bikers go they were good folks.  They made their scratch and tucker by running the mail from town to town, carrying those loads that needed to get through regardless of the odds.  They had a fair rep as a good crew, and earned every bit of it.

As you might imagine, they made enemies.  Bad enemies.  Not just the Empire of Humanity--goes without saying.  But there was a rival gang, called the Blood Bathers, who had it out for Deliverance in a major way.

They got what they wanted.  Oh, yes, they did.  Only problem was that Deliverance did not go gently into that good night, and they took most of the Bathers with them when the Bather's Fortress near Tipton went up in a blaze of glory and exploding munitions.

And that's where our story picks up, with the few surviving members of Deliverance picking up the pieces and moving on.  Members old and new are welcome!

While this is basically free-form, there may be some supplemental system bits that happen behind the scene, drawing from the various works of Kevin Crawford's sandbox OSR games (especially Other Dust) and the post-apocalyptic skirmish ruleset After The Horsemen from Two Hour Wargames.  And of course the setting is Palladium's After The Bomb, Road Hogs, Mutants of the Yucatan, and Mutants Down Under.
