Toben is a young man of the age of 17. His surname, Ironsprings, is an homage to the village he grew up in. His true parents disappeared at a very young age, and changed his last name to show gratitude to Iron Springs for the burden they had to bare raising him.

He is taller than average compared to the people he grew up with in Iron Springs, and is surprisingly well muscled for his age due to a few years of being an apprentice blacksmith despite his thin frame. His hooded traveling cloak conceals much of his jet black hair, and hangs just low enough for his piercing blue eyes to peer out from underneath.

In most cases a perceptive person may notice a small weasel-like creature scurrying around his feet or poking its nose from Toben's travel pack at any given time.
