A once fresh faced scout and agent of Duke Dagnir Therion, Ourn Garamune has seen his fair share of the horrors in this new world. Though not as seasoned as some of his compatriots, his experiences have started him on a path of absolute servitude to crown and country. Gifted with a mysterious tome from his mentor, he has begun to scratch the surface of unlocking its secrets. Its biggest secrets: magic, and the art of assassination. He prefers to learn from his enemies strengths, and assimilate those into his own repertoire of tricks and snares. Even if those strengths end up being less than savory or noble.

In more recent times, his once dry sense of humor is starting to fade, and his jovial outlook has dimmed. He has learned what it is to take a life, and to spare life. Though he doesn't show it outwardly, the state of the world and the role he may stumble in to playing in it weigh heavily on his mind. His resolve to serve his duke, and the drive to do whatever is necessary to preserve his country's well being have yet to show just how far into the darkness he's willing to travel..

One thing is for certain though - Ourn is just as fiercely loyal to his friends and brothers-at-arms as he is his own lands. He'd willingly without second thought lay down his own life if it meant sparing one or the other.
