Thargor Shatterstone

Thargor Shatterstone is an amicable hermit who much prefers the company of rabbits, elk, and raccoons to humanoids. His standout personality trait is his deep devotion to Eru Ilúvatar. He loves to walk in the woods and pray and views regularly communing with - and protecting - nature as an act of worship.

Other traits:
- Presents as humble, shy, soft-spoken, and non-violent...until he perceives one's intent to harm innocents
- Will try to avoid conflict, but typically lacks the speech savvy to intimidate or persuade- Is a passionate defender of innocent life, particularly woodland residents
- Is enamored with Dwarven history and lore, voraciously reading and listening to any dwarf-related materials and stories he encounters (especially their craftsmanship)
- Has a particular affinity for Aulë the Smith, one of the Valar and "maker of the Dwarves," whom they refer to as "Mahtan" in their literature
- Operates his deep-woods forge to create items for extra cash and attempt to re-create the Dwarven weapons he has read about
- Repairs horseshoes, armor, wagons, and other gear for passers-by... for a small fee
- Family history is clouded in mystery, though Thargor has always called the mountain wilderness home
