Serena Valais is a beautiful 5'8'' tall young woman with silky, luxurious auburn hair and fair features. She is youthful and vibrant, and often dresses to impress and even makes sure her traveling clothes are coordinated well and such. she has a full, airy voice and is not afraid to laugh at jokes and chuckle at the attentions of others. Still, this beauty is not a dumb bimbo, and her piercing green eyes belie a glimmer of intelligence and cunning. And sometimes sparkle with mischief. Her general build is like a graceful human's, although she has pointed ears that sometimes twitch at certain sounds and more angular facial features than most human women have.

She generally appears in well-coordinated traveling clothes and form-fitting leather armor, although sometimes wears a suit a fine clothing that would be suitable for formal events and performances. She has a dagger tucked in one of her boots, a sheathed rapier on her side, and a lute strapped across her back. Sometimes, a flute also pokes out of one of the folds of her jerkin or cloak (she tends to move it around her body daily). She wears a backpack. She has a signet ring on her left finger that appears to have a noble crest of some sort on it, although she dodges the subject when others inquire about it.

She has an amazing voice - both literally and figuratively magical, and is proficient with more musical instruments than even most minstrels (she knows 4!).
