Max Strenger is an abomination. Although he only stands at slightly under six feet tall, he takes up most of a corner of any room he enters, propelled as he is by four knife-like insect legs encircling a bloated thorax and abdomen crowned by stunted spinnerets. In turn above the waist he only represents the gesture of humanity with four pale arms - two of which are withered and vestigial - a maw of quivering chelicera, pedipalp, crushing mandible fangs, and on his brow a profusion of dimly lit arachnid eyes that are mostly blind. Crawling from one tunnel to the next he is followed by the retching scent of rot and decay, his body slick with indistinct fluids that cling to his soiled vestments.
