Harrowdale

Did you ever want to be a merchant, or a thief, a butcher, a baker, or a candlestick maker?  What about a Lady in a palace or a lady of the evening, a soldier or a sailor?

Join us on an Alternate Earth and create the people, their lives, and the events of the port city of Harrowdale which sits along the southern shore of the kingdom of Lamashi and is the key city in the south.  The deep water port is medium sized and shaped like a half moon facing southwest.  It is lined with docks for loading and unloading.  Many varieties of goods in large quantities pass through the docks of Harrowdale.  It is more of a small city rather than just a village with a large, thriving market place and nicely built, well kept, homes.
On a hill guarding the entrance to the city is Hulwar Keep which is in need of some rebuilding after incurring damage from an unexpected bad storm. The Keep was already damaged previously in a raid by a black dragon which was slain by ballista bolts from the determined defenders at the cost of their lives.  Siege engines in defensive formation still remain in the Keep and are ready to defend all approaches to the city including from the sea.  Plans are being laid for a fort on Two Rocks island to further aid in defense.  A stone bridge from Harrow Point Light to Two Rocks is also part of those plans.
For the most part, all of the citizens are friendly with one another, well protected by a loyal guard.  Trade of their own resources, lumber, grain, precious and semi-precious stones, minerals, and even some gold and silver, with nations across the sea, and the rest of the kingdom is brisk and lucrative.  Other nations have cast their eyes upon Harrowdale seeking the riches there but the 2nd Division of the Royal Lamashi Regulars based at the head of the pass in the mountains to the north have discouraged all such thoughts from becoming actions.

Harrowdale is a guided Free-Form game with a wide leeway for player participation.
