Raiel is tall even for an Aiel Female.  She has red hair and golden eyes like the desert hawks's.  She is well propositioned, lean and hard, with muscles from her constant running and walking and her training in the Dance of Spear,  HEr skin is fair but tanned golden. Her red hair cut short on the sides and then rest is gathered in a tail at the back to be kept out of her way when fighting.  She wars the cadinsor typical of her people though her color choices and in taupe or dove gray colors

Raiel and her identical twin sister Asurii, had recently been Accepted into the Far Dareis Mai, THe Maiden of the Spear. when they returned home they found their part of the sept had been attacked by a fist of Trollos. many were dead the father, their mother dying, but not before telling them that their real mother was a Maiden of the spear that they had known but not known the connection between them/ She had died defending the twins known parents.

The twins swore an oath, ji'e'toh, to hunt down the Trollocs and kill them all.  They gathered weapons and provision and set out.  The trail was long and hard and they chase the remnants of that fist into the beginning of the Blight to lands unknown to them.  Their they cornered the last few including the halfman leading them.  Unfortunately, they did not get the surprise on them.  They were caught in a trap, that was when outsider, wetlanders appeared and help to put the last of them down.  Ji'e'toh had been satisfied.
